Requirements

  • Enrolled in an accredited college or university studying one of the following disciplines: Business Administration, Communication, PR, Marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Adobe Creative Suite would be a plus
  • Fundamental knowledge of internal and external communications, the importance of branding as well as corporate social responsibility
  • High level of self-motivation and good time management skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills essential for the role

Responsibilities

  • Support activities surrounding CONNECT – Women’s Network, TKE’s Business Resource Group
  • Planning and posting of internal messaging on digital screens throughout the Regional Business Support Center
  • Responsible for interaction with TKE’s young Safety Ambassadors Club members, incl. email correspondence with parents, scheduling tours, packing & shipping gifts
  • Planning, coordinating and collaborating with team members on internal communications and branding projects
  • Meet deadlines for project deliverables
  • Recommend process improvements
  • Gain valuable work experience and prepare for future career
  • Other Day-to-day department responsibilities as assigned by supervisor and/or department head
