  • Component Selection: Assist in selecting electronic components for designs based on performance, cost, and availability considerations.
  • Documentation: Manage a component database capturing documentation related to component specifications, datasheets, and test reports.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that components selected and used in designs comply with specific standards and regulations (e.g., RoHS, REACH).
  • Sustainability Considerations: Identify alternate sources to maintain production and reduce supply interruptions.
  • Professional Development: Take advantage of learning opportunities and mentorship to develop skills in component engineering and related fields.
