Requirements

  • Knowledge of advanced computer hardware, software, and Windows OS
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
  • What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • Knowledge of advanced computer hardware, such as 2D and 3D workstations utilized for engineering and design.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows file systems and registry.
  • Familiarity with software packaging & deployment systems
  • Working knowledge of computer-aided engineering, tools and methodology.
  • General knowledge of engineering and design applications such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, ProjectWise™.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the latest engineering software across multiple disciplines
  • Prepare engineering software for virtualized, streamed deployment to users
  • Analyzes and supports standard engineering and design applications, providing technical recommendations to improve utilization and troubleshooting
  • Complete technical support assignments to modify, upgrade, maintain or troubleshoot Engineering Systems (ES) software and hardware
  • Evaluate assigned issues, questions, small projects and problems
  • Select and apply standard and non-standard ES technical support procedures and practices to complete assignments
  • Work directly with end users at various offices and field locations
  • Assist on special projects like user acceptance testing for technology rollouts
