Requirements

  • Ongoing pursuit of a 4-year degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in construction engineering
  • Maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
  • Available to start May 2024.
  • Ability to travel throughout Baxter & Woodman service area (own transportation).
  • Work in a team environment.
  • Strong written, verbal, computer, and organizational skills.
  • Desire and ability to work outdoors 40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

  • Construction services associated with quantity computation, construction layout, survey, and construction inspection.
  • Field work, studies, and design of water and wastewater system rehabilitation.
  • Assisting engineers with the evaluation, study, and design of transportation, storm sewer, potable water, sanitary sewers, and treatment plant improvements.
