Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student in a 4-year college or university and seeking either a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree majoring in Construction Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, or similar major.
  • Must have completed 1 year of study.
  • Valid Driver’s License to operate an AECOM provided motor vehicle on construction project site(s) to support project tasks assignments and scope of work. For positions with driving responsibilities, Motor Vehicle Records are reviewed as part of AECOM’s background check process to ensure compliance with the Company’s driving standards.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Participation in extracurricular activities. For example, sports, youth groups, and clubs.
  • Ability to follow direction and manage specific tasks to completion.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and concepts.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities.
  • Willing to work on a variety of tasks alone or as part of a team.
  • Experience using Bluebeam, P6, On-Screen Takeoff, or WinEst software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Performs a variety of assignments designed to develop professional work knowledge and abilities, requiring the application of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria in carrying out tasks.
  • Follows instructions to accomplish tasks assigned by senior staff.
  • Meets required schedules while producing quality work.
  • Interns are assigned duties that will provide a broad, well-rounded learning experience within their field of study.
