The ideal candidate for the Controls Engineering Internship at Barry-Wehmiller should be pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, have a solid understanding of PLC programming and industrial communication protocols, as well as proficiency in software tools commonly used in controls engineering. Strong problem-solving and communication skills are also necessary.

The candidate will assist in designing, testing, and troubleshooting control systems for paper converting machinery, collaborating with senior engineers and cross-functional teams, participating in commissioning activities, and staying current with industry trends.
