Requirements

  • Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline which coincides with the line of business
  • Preference for Junior or Senior standing at the time of internship
  • Demonstrated academic excellence
  • Strong interest in the banking industry
  • Self-starter with involvement in extra-curricular, community or university sponsored organizations
  • Adaptability and the ability to learn quickly and handle unexpected challenges with maturity and professionalism
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Driven and motivated with demonstrated teamwork and leadership ability

Responsibilities

  • The Corporate Banking (Middle Market Lending) Intern may have the following tasks or projects:
  • Attend client calls regarding lending, deposits, and updates
  • Analytical work tied to portfolio administration
  • Complete annual reviews of clients’ financials
  • Creating pitchbooks for new business opportunities
  • Researching information on prospective clients
  • Enhance and refine data utilized in Salesforce
