Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, English, or a related field
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
Confident self-starter
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable in a professional corporate setting
Knowledge of social media platforms and experience with creating and managing social media content
Familiarity with WordPress and professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn also preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
Responsibilities
Support the development and implementation of communications plans and strategies
Conduct research and gather information for communications projects
Write and edit various forms of communication materials, including blog posts, company announcements, and toolkits
Contribute to LinkedIn content creation and management
Provide administrative support to the Communications team as needed
Assist with the management and maintenance of the company's intranet, including creating and updating content, monitoring activity, and ensuring the platform is effectively used by employees
Lead the development of a summer intern blog series for the company’s intranet
Attend external partner/vendor meetings to learn how to manage vendors and the value of external partnerships
Assist with the optimization of the company’s website, including updating content and imagery, and ensuring changes are being informed by site analytics
Contribute to employee engagement events including planning, execution and measurement
