Requirements

  • Undergraduate student, graduate student or recent graduate majoring in communications, public relations, journalism, English, marketing and/or a related field.
  • Efficient executor and team player.
  • Able to manage time to execute high-quality deliverables.
  • Preferred Skills:
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office (especially Word and PowerPoint).
  • Experience with Microsoft SharePoint and Teams a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support internal communications campaigns that align with our strategic initiatives.
  • Draft well-written creative briefings to kickoff initiatives with our Creative Studio team.
  • Review and edit internal communications before publishing in channels.
  • Research communications best practices and facilitate award submissions.
  • Pull communication metrics for program summaries and share observations based on data.
  • Partner with broader Corporate Communications team to support a variety of projects, as needed.
  • The intern will also get the opportunity to be mentored by team members and participate in meetings, brainstorming and strategy sessions.
