Requirements

  • One to two years of college level courses towards the obtainment of a B.S. degree in Wireless, Electrical, System or Computer Engineering
  • Excellent communications skills and the ability to present complex topics to non-technical audiences
  • Self-motivated and able to maintain focus in a pressured environment
  • Experience working with customers is desirable
  • Experience/ Knowledge in radio systems, radio propagation, RF, wireless, broadband, microwave is desirable.
  • High School Diploma is required
  • Must be pursuing a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree (Wireless, Electrical, System Computer Engineering or similar engineering or technical discipline)
  • Must have a graduation date of December 2024 or later
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the team in the design of radio communication solutions from the conceptual phases through to implementation that meet customer's requirements.
  • Consult with the local coverage engineer and engineering field team to understand the customer’s requirements and work together to design the best solution to meet the customers needs. This involves designing radio coverage solutions with the appropriate location of antenna sites to minimize site counts, evaluating voice and data traffic capacity, performing frequency planning and licensing studies to help ensure the coverage solution is licensable and minimize harmful interference to current existing nearby systems.
