Requirements

  • This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly. You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience would be obtained through a combination of prior education level classes, and current level school classes, projects, and research.
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Must Pursuing Masters/PhD degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related areas
  • 3+ months of experience or knowledge focused on VLSI design and Digital and/or Analog Integrated Circuits
  • 3+ months of experience with Unix and scripting languages such as Python, Perl, or TCL
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience using Engineering Design Automation (EDA) Backend Design tools from Synopsys, Cadence, and/or Mentor Graphics
  • Familiar with EDA Spice Circuit Simulators
  • Knowledge in standard-cell liberty format syntax or digital circuit device-level SPICE modelling

Responsibilities

  • Assist in design of custom blocks and all related work dealing with circuit, layout, extraction, timing/noise/power analysis
  • Interact with other domains such as, RTL, PNR, Validation, DA, etc.
  • Work with inhouse and external industry standard tools for circuit simulation, static timing, noise, power, area, reliability would be part of the tasks
  • Scripting for optimizing flows, design automation
  • Identifying process improvements for efficient design flows
  • Responsibilities will be diverse and related to VLSI CMOS circuit design
