Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelors/Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science or a related field) -( juniors/seniors)
Strong time management and problem solving skills
Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and prioritize activities to achieve results
Experience developing software in Python
Experience working with different databases ( Snowflake is a plus).
Are a motivated, hands-on developer who is passionate about learning and extending their skills.
Build data pipelines to facilitate data science.
Ensure code conforms to quality guidelines set forth by team
Experiment with ad hoc SQL queries and translate into application code
Demonstrate a holistic mindset when developing new modules with a focus on the big technical picture
Write and review PRs with a focus on ensuring best practices and improving our products

Responsibilities

This role will work alongside the Clinical Product Data Science team who specializes in building models and algorithms to detect data quality issues in clinical trial data.
The Data Science Summer Intern position offers a dynamic opportunity to immerse yourself in the world of data engineering. As an intern, you will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of data pipelines, contributing to the backbone of various data science initiatives. Your impact will extend to ensuring the efficiency and reliability of data processes, working collaboratively with a cross-functional team.
