The candidate must have a background in electrical engineering, a strong understanding of mixed signal design principles and functional verification methodologies, familiarity with open-source EDA tools, knowledge of hardware description/verification languages, experience with scripting and automation, a grasp of AI and machine learning concepts, strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication and collaboration abilities.

The Design Automation Summer Intern at Skyworks Solutions, Inc. will collaborate with the design team to develop and implement verification plans for mixed signal designs, using EDA tools for simulation and analysis. They will also explore and evaluate open-source EDA tools, stay updated with industry trends, and contribute to the development of methodologies and best practices for functional verification, with a focus on integrating AI and machine learning techniques.
