Requirements

  • Must be currently pursuing a creative arts program in Interior Design, Architecture, Interior Styling, Furniture Design or similar.
  • Must have a strong portfolio demonstrating built and photographed work related to interior styling, furnishings or similar.
  • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate design ideas through sketching.
  • Problem solving mindset, is critical.
  • Previous experiences designing from concept through execution with strong knowledge of detailing, and materials, preferred.
  • Be resourceful, innovative and proactive and have the ability to work in a team dynamic.
  • Must be able to participate in local travel in San Francisco/Bay Area.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with internal and external designers, artists, and makers to curate and develop custom products and initiatives across brand touchpoints
  • Compose image/mood boards
  • Participate in team review and revision of design as necessary
  • Support the review architectural drawings, design details, finish samples, RFIs, equipment specifications and furniture
  • Perform as needed site visits and field verification measurements
  • Assist the team with administrative tasks associated with the role, as needed.
  • Partner with team to source local resources for refinishing/ refurbished and upholstery services for retail and vintage furnishings
  • Strategize and assist designers with building styling guidelines to ensure each space
  • enhances the experience
