Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in providing organized, administrative support in dynamic creative or production environments
  • Demonstrated proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Indesign and/or Figma (Experience with Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere is a major plus, but not required.)
  • Experience or interest in designing decks, presentations, style guides or moodboards
  • General understanding of how to design and modify documents for print
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills and adherence to deadlines
  • Eagle-eye attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Strong interest in branding, video production, and/or art direction
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the day-to-day production of graphics for our social platforms, editorial blogs, and other sites of digital storytelling
  • Lead the charge in organizing, archiving, and managing the storage of photos, videos and design assets for the Communications team
  • Assisting with the design of decks, invitations, newsletters and other graphics for internal communications
  • Assisting the Creative Lead and Creative Assistant with the coordination and production of video and photo shoots

Mission & Purpose

The Innocence Project is a non-profit legal clinic affiliated with the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University and created by Barry C. Scheck and Peter J. Neufeld in 1992. The project is a national litigation and public policy organization dedicated to exonerating wrongfully convicted people through DNA testing and reforming the criminal justice system to prevent future injustice.
