Requirements

  • Completing a university degree with a major in Real Estate, Finance and Economics, Real Estate Development, or Business. Pursuing a graduate degree in one of these fields will be considered an asset
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word; knowledge of Argus Enterprise a plus.
  • Previous experience working within a real estate company (asset management or development), real estate brokerage or advisory firm, appraisal firm, or real estate lender is desirable. A strong interest in developing a career within real estate is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Learn and Understand all aspects of asset managing real estate through its lifecycle – acquisition/development, business plan implementation, stabilization and disposition
  • Assist in the monitoring of investments, including the maintenance, the analysis and the review of monthly/quarterly reports, construction progress metrics, operating performance, development costs and other KPS again underwriting/budget
  • Develop working knowledge and lease agreement to assist with project tracking and oversight responsibilities
  • Work with multiple teams to audit and maintain proprietary databases and reporting dashboard for accurate and timely reporting
  • Analyze project sustainability, wellness and smart building specifications against programmatic goals and portfolio wide performance benchmarks
  • Understand and be exposed to all aspects of asset managing real estate through its lifecycle—acquisition/development, business plan implementation, stabilization, and disposition
  • Work collaboratively and provide support, assistance, and back-up to other team members
