Requirements

  • Education required:
  • To apply for this placement, you must be:
  • Currently studying an any Undergraduate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or similar degree.
  • Other requirements:
  • You will have completed a minimum of 2 years of your undergraduate degree but will not have graduated at the start of your placement. You must be enrolled at a UK (United Kingdom) or ROI (Republic of Ireland) university for the duration of your placement.

Responsibilities

  • Work with device development experts to help develop, model and understand the performance of drug delivery devices in one of the following fields; Human Factors Engineering, Computer Aided Engineering (FEA, CFD, multiphysics modelling), manufacturing process development or device project management.
  • Learn how GSK develop robust, patient-centric device to deliver medicines.
  • Working with stakeholders at different levels across the business.
