What is the duration of the Discover EY – Women in Leadership programme?
The programme lasts for two days, from Wednesday 9 April 2025 to Thursday 10 April 2025.
Is the programme available for students at all educational levels?
Yes, the programme is designed for students in Year 13/S6 (Scotland) and all university undergraduate years.
Will there be any costs associated with attending the in-person event?
EY will cover reasonable travel costs for you to get to the office for the in-person event.
Where will the in-person event take place?
The in-person event will take place in one of our offices across the UK: Birmingham, Edinburgh, London, or Manchester.
Are there any opportunities for fast-tracking into employment following the programme?
Yes, students in school could be fast-tracked onto a Business Apprenticeship, and university students could be fast-tracked onto a Summer Internship, Industrial Placement, or Graduate programme.
How can participants develop their professional skills during the programme?
Participants will develop their professional skills and personal strengths through various activities and networking with senior female leaders.
Is there any structured support available for participants after the programme?
Yes, participants will hear about the structured support, training, and opportunities available through the EY Women’s Network.
What topics will be explored related to the Technology business area?
Participants will explore how artificial intelligence, cyber security, data analytics, and technology can solve complex problems for some of the world’s biggest businesses.
Is there an option for overnight stays during the event?
No, there are no overnight stays for these events, and attendees are advised to apply only to locations that are within a comfortable commutable distance.
Will participants receive a salary for this programme?
Yes, participants will receive a competitive salary during the programme.
