Requirements

  • To have served at least 180 days in any of the U.S. Armed Forces
  • To be within 180 days of separation or retirement from any of the U.S. Armed Forces (you may start your application prior to the 180 days)
  • Must be on track to receive an Honorable Discharge
  • Must have taken any service TAPS/TGPS
  • Must have command approval to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program

Responsibilities

  • Realtime Spacecraft Network Engineering:
  • Get experience with the Spacecraft System Time Triggered Network
  • Work with the Integrated Product Team to develop and test safety-critical networking
  • Develop knowledge of the system design
  • Collaborate with the Network Engineering team
  • Learn to plan network testing and verification activities
  • Learn to design and implement test procedures
  • Spacecraft Cyber Security Engineering:
  • Develop cybersecurity requirements for spacecraft systems
  • Learn to perform cybersecurity oversight and impact assessments
  • Perform assessment for completeness of design and implementation throughout the
  • full software and hardware development lifecycle
  • DevOps Software Engineering:
  • Gain experience with the operation and maintenance of lab environments hardware and software
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to project teams
  • Develop and maintain DevOps pipelines
  • Identify and document best practices and lessons learned across labs
