Requirements

  • We are looking for students who are:
  • In their penultimate year of their MEng Engineering or Maths degree (graduating in 2025) Note: Master students are eligible to apply for our Engineering internships.
  • Available to work in our Westhill office, situated just outside Aberdeen, during the summer months (June to end of August)
  • Able to exhibit strong communication skills, attention to detail, an excellent work ethic, a curiosity to learn and basic familiarity with Microsoft applications

Responsibilities

  • The Drilling & Wells Interns will support the Technical Services function. The roles involve providing technical support to the lead engineers in the preparation of a wide variety of engineering projects within Well Services and Completion or Surface Wellheads & Xmas Trees.
  • Some of the activities you will be involved in will include:
  • Lead a study to review and analysis maintenance records and present key findings and data trends.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives through standardisation of workflows and critical calculations.
  • Customise a simplified Company Rules check method for designs and programmes to enhance safety and compliance.
