Requirements

  • University Hiring Program Eligibility Requirements:
  • University Enrollment: Must be currently enrolled in and returning to an accredited degree-seeking academic program in the Fall.
  • Internship Work Period: Must be available to work full-time (approximately 40 hours per week) during a 10-12 week period starting May or June. Specific start dates are shared during the recruiting process.
  • Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:
  • Current enrollment in an Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related degree-seeking program at the Bachelor’s level.
  • Knowledge of Digital logic design and transmission line theory
  • Ability to work well in a team and cross-functional environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively (written, oral) with the team
  • Experience in PCA/B (Printed Circuit Assembly/Board) a plus
  • Prior co-op and/or intern experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Apply your knowledge of digital design and transmission line theory to practical applications
  • Component selection and implementation through schematic capture
  • Simulate solutions where applicable
  • High speed design, characterization, and test
  • Shepherd the design through the PCA design process
  • Board bring-up and troubleshooting
