Requirements

  • Candidate is working towards a degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE or MSEE)
  • Hands-on experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital), development and associated electrical board design, troubleshooting and validation required
  • Understanding of and experience in signals and controls theory required
  • Interest and experience of power distribution and control system design of complex systems (such as unmanned vehicle, drones, robotic systems or similar machines) is a big plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  • Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with PCB CAD software for schematics and layours.
  • Experience with Electrical simulation software (SPICE, LTSPICE, ADS, HFSS, Maxwell, Simulink, etc).
  • Embedded Systems; Scripting, firmware, board bringup, microcontrollers, FPGA or CPLD.

Responsibilities

  • Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission and storage of electricity.
  • Designs, tests, troubleshoots PCB schematics and layouts
  • Determines design approaches and parameters.
  • Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests and evaluates results.
  • Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability.
  • Completes documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance.
  • May interact with users to define system requirements and/or necessary modifications.
