Requirements

  • Engineering student working towards a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering at a 4 year accredited university is required.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit is preferred
  • Ideally, you will also have
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Prior internship experience, especially in the pharmaceutical industry

Responsibilities

  • Our core Life Sciences network has become the largest provider of engineering and construction services to pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients in the world. Jacobs provides full-service engineering, procurement, and construction management services to both new and existing facilities. For projects of every scale, we provide design, engineering, construction, commissioning, and maintenance services that support a facility's entire life cycle.
  • As an intern with our Life Sciences team, you will work with Electrical Engineers in assisting them executing projects for our various clients. Work could be in the pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical industries. Some tasks may include perform routine aspects of engineering requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles under close supervision, may use computer-assisted engineering software and equipment to perform engineering tasks, experience working within a Database environment is a plus, collects and prepares data for evaluation, assisting in the coordination of projects from conception (feasibility) through final plan preparations, and providing support to engineering staff members as needed.
