The ideal candidate for this Electrical Test Engineering Co-op position at SPAN must be a self-motivated graduate student in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with fundamental knowledge of electrical engineering and circuit theories. They should have a passion for renewable energy, be a fast learner, and have the ability to work well in a team. Additionally, experience with oscilloscopes, programmable power supplies, multimeters, Altium Designer, basic coding with Python, and prior internship or co-op experience in electrical engineering would be a bonus.

The Electrical Test Engineering Co-op at SPAN will work closely with hardware design engineers to develop electrical functional tests, create test specifications, design and integrate test equipment, and develop software for test control and automation. They will also be responsible for producing technical documentation and have the opportunity to learn about and develop tests for various electronic components and communication protocols.
