The candidate must be currently enrolled in an environmental science, biology, environmental engineering, or related program. They should have critical thinking and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective time management, the ability to work independently or with a team, and excellent written and oral communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data collection in a field/water environment is preferred. Strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative team attitude, and the willingness to travel to remote locations for extended periods are required. A minimum of 2 years completed toward a degree with a GPA of 3.0+ is preferred, and an active commitment to the company's employee-owned culture is a must.

The Environmental Intern in Charlotte will provide support to cross-sector environmental and engineering teams, work with GIS and Esri software, conduct wetland delineation, and engage in research and learning opportunities to grow as an Environmental professional.
