Requirements

  • Education: Certifications, Technical College, Trade School or currently attending a University.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to effectively communicate in American Sign Language (Preferred)
  • Project management experience using Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships and partner with multi-functional teams
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and can adapt quickly to shifts in strategy and addressing problems as they arise
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage timelines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines and goals
  • Strong sense of ownership, attention to details, and organizational skills
  • Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
  • Punctual and reliable attendance.
  • Ability to sit and/or stand at a desk and work with a computer for extended periods of time.
  • Positive attitude, team player, good interpersonal communication skills and able to work across company departments.

Responsibilities

  • Organize and manage 2 virtual, and 1 in-person event (or 3 virtual events), as directed by the Events Manager.
  • Play a crucial role in brainstorming sessions, contributing fresh insights and creative ideas to enhance event planning and execution.
  • Effectively engage the younger demographic through strategic use of social media and other marketing tactics to ensure maximum event participation and impact.
  • Assist in collecting feedback and evaluating the success of each event, including metrics such as attendance, engagement levels, and participant satisfaction.
  • Provide administrative support to the Events Manager, including but not limited to managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and handling correspondence related to event planning and coordination.
  • Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
