Requirements

  • Current enrollment in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work environment.
  • This internship is scheduled to begin June 2024 and end on approximately August 2024.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Analysis - Assist in financial data analysis, including revenue forecasting, expense tracking, and budget variance analysis.
  • Accounts Payable/Receivable - Support accounts payable and receivable functions by processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and assisting in collections efforts.
  • Financial Reporting - Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, statements, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data Entry and Record Keeping - Maintain accurate financial records and databases, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Audit Support - Assist with audit preparations, including gathering necessary documentation and supporting audit inquiries.
  • Financial Systems - Gain exposure to financial software and systems, aiding in data entry and system maintenance.
  • Ad Hoc Project- Participate in special finance-related projects as assigned by the finance team.
