Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited degree program pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Desired Skills:
  • Ability to learn computer interface and perform basic business functions including application of cost analysis principles.
  • Proficient in MS Excel - possess the capacity for the development and use of Vlookup and pivot tables, as well as advanced Excel advance applications.
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Aptitude to facilitate results, self-starter attitude, process oriented, structured problem solver, attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVMS) procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

  • In addition, the intern will have the opportunity to observe the use of financial information systems and the preparation of applicable financial reports
  • Review, Organize, Update current processes utilized by the MFC Central Finance organization.
  • Review, Organize, Update the Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Homepage.
  • Assist in determining where we can streamline our processes and improve communication.
