Requirements

  • Educational Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expectation that the degree will be obtained by July 2025 or earlier
  • Must be returning to the course of study following completion of the internship
  • Pursuing a degree in Business, Finance, or other closely related field
  • Requirements:
  • Participation in the internship program requires that you are located in the continental United States for the duration of the program
  • You will be evaluated for a full time position with their team
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without restriction
  • This is a 40 hour per week assignment, lasting between 10-12 weeks with the expected start date being May 20, 2024
  • Technical Skill Qualifications (Preferred):
  • Proficiency in Excel/Google sheets
  • Ability to organize and structure data
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Professional Skill Qualifications (Preferred):
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, initiative, and intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member
  • Ability to learn and comply with company policies and procedures

Responsibilities

  • The Finance Planning Analyst Intern role at Iron Mountain has critical influence on our bottom line as an organization. In this role, you use financial data to shape our business plans, forecasts, and actions that we take in order to deliver our commitments to Shareholders and the Board. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, self motivated, intellectually curious, and an excellent communicator. Skills in data analysis, financial knowledge, and data visualization will come into play as you support development of the plans that will shape our future.
  • As a Financial Planning Analyst Intern at Iron Mountain you will:
  • Map as-is processes, proposing process improvements and documenting to-be activity flows
  • Create documentation and standard procedures for key tasks
  • Gather, analyze, and report key data findings
  • Build data driven dashboards
  • Present data for key meetings with business partners and helping influence change
  • Construct business cases
  • Perform financial analysis, ROI, and business benefits
