Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in economics, accounting or business related major preferred but not required
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated, reliable and consistent
  • Basic general accounting or business knowledge is a plus,
  • Highly organized
  • Good communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Prepare templates for various financial reporting reports
  • Request and collect supporting documentation required for financial statement report preparation
  • Prepare tie out of financial statements and footnotes to supporting documents for management review
  • Assist in financial statement report preparation, mailings and filings
  • Update SOX 2024 planning and tracking documents
  • Revising SOX flowcharts and narrative, including verifying consistency with risk control matrices
  • Uploading and formatting accounting policy memos in Workiva
  • Checking Workiva for new comments on draft accounting memos
  • Attending and taking notes at meetings with SOX staff, PwC, and business owners
  • Completing various administrative tasks, as needed
