Requirements

  • Pursuing a Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection, or another related field.
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or other 3D modeling systems
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills
  • Previous internship experience or involvement in a related student association a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Gain experience in AutoCad and Revit.
  • Gain experience in the documentation and review of existing Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems based on site investigations.
  • Gain experience in the design of Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems with other building systems and other discipline design requirements.
  • Gain experience in the completion of engineering calculations for Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm System Design.
  • Gain experience in the review and documentation of Fire Suppression and Fire Alarm Systems during construction.
