The ideal candidate for this firmware validation internship/co-op should have proficiency in C++ and Python, along with experience in writing and debugging embedded software. They should also be familiar with application development in a unix-like environment, as well as have knowledge of filesystems, networking, and inter-process communication. Knowledge of real-time operating systems, network introspection and debugging, industrial or automotive fieldbuses, and event- or message-driven software systems would be considered a bonus.

The Firmware Validation Intern/Co-op at Zoox will be responsible for collecting diagnostic data, analyzing audio data, injecting failures for testing purposes, and importing results into Testrail on a daily basis.
