The purpose of the International Pharmacy Intern position is to provide a challenging opportunity for Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduates to complete required US Internship hours while developing their knowledge, skills, and abilities in a pharmacy setting.
What are the eligibility requirements for the position?
To be eligible for this position, you must be a Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduate who has successfully passed the FPGEE and TOEFL, and holds an active Pharmacy Intern license in the state where you will be working.
How long do I have to complete the required US Internship hours?
Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduates are required to complete their internship within 18 months.
What kind of training will I receive as an intern?
Interns will follow a mixed modality learning plan that includes a curated learning experience aimed at building upon their pharmacy knowledge and skills under the direct supervision of a licensed Pharmacist.

Yes, interns are expected to identify critical business opportunities, implement meaningful solutions, and support their Pharmacy manager in achieving specified goals while maintaining a safe and effective work environment.

What type of support will I receive from my Pharmacy manager?
You will receive support in motivating and developing the Pharmacy Support Staff, as well as balancing assignments to maximize colleagues’ strengths and addressing developmental opportunities.
Is immunization eligibility required for this role?
While not a requirement to start, once you meet state regulations, Non-US Accredited Foreign Graduates are expected to immunize, as it is an essential function of a pharmacist.
What educational qualifications do I need for this position?
Required educational qualifications include a Doctorate (PharmD) or equivalent Pharmacist degree from a Non-US accredited school of pharmacy, along with a High School Diploma or GED.
