  • Proficiency with WESTLAW and other legal research platforms
  • Significant experience with The Blue Book: A Uniform System of Citation
  • Demonstrated public interest/public service interest or experience
  • In-office/open office environment with the ability to work effectively surrounded by moderate noiseed by injustice and wants to do something about it

Responsibilities

  • Working under the supervision of AARP Foundation attorneys, you will:
  • Conduct legal research
  • Draft memoranda, pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Assist in civil discovery
  • Interview current and potential clients
  • Work with outside co-counsel
  • Participate in litigation strategy
