The candidate must be enrolled in an engineering or related field program, have attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and experience with Microsoft Office Suite. Preferred qualifications include progress towards a degree with a high GPA and knowledge of software like MicroStation and AutoCAD. Local candidates are preferred.

The Freight Rail Track Intern in Omaha will gain hands-on experience in engineering techniques and procedures for track design, structures, and supporting facilities. They will assist senior engineers in checking drawings, developing material lists, reviewing construction submittals, and using specialized software. The role may involve travel and field work within the U.S. and participation in mentoring and young professionals programs.
