Requirements

  • Current enrollment in an undergraduate Civil or Environmental Engineering program;
  • Prior internship and/or related survey experience preferred;
  • Local candidates preferred

Responsibilities

  • As an Intern for Civil & Environmental Consultants Inc. (CEC) geotechnical group, you will perform geotechnical engineering tasks supporting project teams on geotechnical subsurface investigations for engineering design of building foundations, cut and fill slopes, retaining walls, landslides, and pavements, as well as construction materials testing services for projects.
  • You will support subsurface drilling, obtain soil and rock samples, prepare boring logs, develop laboratory testing programs, interpret laboratory data, perform geotechnical analyses and prepare detailed geotechnical reports.
  • Projects will primarily be for commercial, retail, institutional, energy, and industrial clients.
