The main purpose of the Gift Aid Volunteer role is to help improve Gift Aid sign-ups, inform customers about Gift Aid, and assist other retail volunteers in following the correct processes as set out by HMRC, thereby raising vital funds for heart and circulatory disease research.
What are the typical tasks I would be responsible for as a Gift Aid Volunteer?
Typical tasks include promoting Gift Aid on the shop floor, helping donors sign up, inputting Gift Aid data into online systems, sorting and pricing Gift Aided donations, training other volunteers on Gift Aid procedures, and actively seeking new Gift Aid donation opportunities.
Is this a paid position?
No, this is an unpaid voluntary position.
What are the age requirements for this volunteer role?
We are unable to accept volunteers aged under 16 or with unspent criminal convictions.
