You need a Class G drivers license, off-road vehicle experience, eagerness to learn in a safe work environment, and schooling related to mining and the environment for the Glencore Summer Internship in Mattabi.

You will assist with water sampling, monitor water treatment plant operations, calibrate instruments, maintain environmental database, review and enter data, develop site procedures, conduct preventative maintenance, assist with projects, host contractors, handle health and safety documents, and participate in outdoor activities.

<ul><li>The Mattabi site, located near Ignace, Ontario as well as near Sioux Lookout, Savant Lake and Dryden, the incumbent will be working 4 days on-site. Glencore is looking for U1 to master’s level students that are interested in the mining industry to work on our closed site for sixteen (16) weeks. The candidate will be temporarily relocating to the township of Ignace for the duration of the internship. The candidate will be expected to be comfortable working in&nbsp;remote&nbsp;areas, doing around 70% field work and 30% administrative work.&nbsp;</li></ul>
