Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, accomplishing tasks with limited resources at a rapid pace.
  • Excellenta organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize.
  • Proactive problem solver and resolution ability.
  • Strong interpersonal and follow-up skills; willingness to ask questions.
  • Knowledge and understanding of events is preferred.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Fluent in MS Office applications; Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook..
  • SharePoint, Smartsheet, Jifflenow and Cvent software knowledge a plus.
  • Ability to learn other software programs and based platforms as needed.
  • Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • Must be currently enrolled at an accredited four-year university or college
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
  • Basic event planning knowledge.
  • Prior customer service, trade show and/or conference planning a plus.

Responsibilities

  • The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the Global Events Marketing Team in the development and implementation of its events marketing agenda. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to) assisting the team with event planning, program material production, day of event logistics, and administrative tasks.
