Requirements

  • Someone pursing a BS or MS in computer Science, Networking or similar technical major
  • Basic Knowledge of network hardware, local area networks, internet protocols, fiber and copper wiring standards, ethernet, and wireless technologies
  • Experience with scripting in Python, Ansible, or Teraform
  • Experience in Lan network support, specifically troubleshooting OSI Layer 1-3 problems is a plus
  • Experience configuring network devices using CLI is a plus
  • Someone pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Networking, Engineering or a similar technical major.
  • You are a passionate Student who can collaborate with a variety of cross functional teams to participate and assist the team drive and provide the timely delivery of high-quality technical network solutions that align to our key business strategies.

  • The beginnings and the desire to obtain the Technical knowledge of the following network/security Infrastructure technologies:
  • Public Cloud providers (e.g. Amazon AWS/Azure)
  • Cisco, Aruba, or Arista Switching
  • Cisco/Aruba Wireless
  • Firewalls (Fortinet/Cisco ASA/Zscaler)
  • SD-WAN (Cloudgenix, Fortinet)
  • DNS/DHCP (Infoblox)
  • Load Balancing (F5. Cloudflare)
  • Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF)
  • Scripting knowledge and automation experience (Terraform/Python/Ansible)

Responsibilities

  • With over 2500 devices in our network, our team is responsible for monitoring, maintaining and providing support for Pitney Bowes’ Global Network
  • You will assist in identifying, reporting, and investigating any issues within our Global Network
  • You will have the opportunity to give input on network design decisions and participate in network device deployments
  • You will also be given the opportunity to automate our environment, implement configuration changes, and troubleshoot issues at a detailed level.
  • You will follow our principals; Simplify, Secure, Standardize, Automate, and develop Self Service throughout the Network Services portfolio.
  • Support engineering and sustaining engineering projects as the Global Network Services representative.
  • Develop and maintain network topology, solution, and application-flow diagrams.
  • Assist Network Operations maximizing network performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages.
  • Secure network systems by implementing security controls and establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring access.
  • Working with Network Operations, select and implement network and network security tools along with network standard operating procedures.
