Requirements

  • Education:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
  • Experience:
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0
  • Must be an undergraduate Junior or Senior
  • Skills
  • Strong mathematical and organizational skills, detail and results-oriented mindset
  • The ability to balance multiple tasks and to prioritize in an effective manner

  • Initiative; that is, the ability to self-direct/start toward the identification and resolution of issues
  • Communication skills—must be prepared to work in a cross-functional environment and with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Support on-going day to day and month-end accounting activities such as preparation of Journal Entries and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
  • Intercompany projects and other financial projects and analysis as needed
  • Interaction with other areas within Motorparts as well as our off-shore 3rd party provider
