Requirements

  • Must be enrolled in a relevant academic program: Government Relations, Public Affairs, Public Policy, International Affairs, Politics, Law. Law School Students are preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Proficient in writing and editing copy.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to the Government Relations team with day-to-day tasks and long-term projects.
  • Assist with planning events to host elected officials and candidates.
  • Conduct research on political and legislative issues.
  • Research and update government contacts.
  • Assist with compiling materials for internal and external presentations/meetings.
