The candidate must be enrolled in a full-time PhD program in cell biology, have a minimum GPA of 2.8, be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship, and have completed at least one year of study. They must also be available for a 10-12 week internship between May and August, able to relocate if necessary, and not currently employed. Preferred qualifications include a focus on immunology or cancer biology, proficiency in MS Office, ability to work independently and collaboratively, and experience in the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.

The graduate intern in cell biology at Kite Pharma will be responsible for designing and executing experiments to evaluate CAR-T cell function, manufacturing CAR-T cells, phenotyping, performing in vitro cytotoxicity and proliferation assays, evaluating cytokine secretion from coculture assays, and analyzing and presenting data.
