  • How you will succeed:
  • A degree in a related field such as Accounting, Finance, Actuarial Science, Mathematics and Physics
  • Current or planned pursuit of a professional designation (e.g. CPA, CFA, CBV or FRM) is considered an asset

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a ‘can-do’ mindset
  • A strong interest in learning about financial instruments and financial markets and the ability to research into related topics

Responsibilities

  • You will assist in preparing valuation assignments in support of transactions, financial reporting, and other advisory services across a diverse range of industries. You will also work with other members of the Valuations practice to model and price complex financial instruments (including financial derivatives and fixed income instruments). You will be actively involved in the following:
  • Conduct economic, industry, company, and financial product research.
  • Gain understanding and utilize various methodologies to value financial instruments and prepare analysis.
  • Prepare well composed reports and memorandums to document valuation methodologies, inputs and assumptions.
  • Work closely with other team members to complete client deliverables in a timely manner.
  • Work collaboratively with other practices areas including business valuations, data analytics, financial risk management, tax and audit.
