Requirements

  • You should have experience with, or be ready to learn:
  • System level electrical architecture, common digital interfaces, schematic design, and board layout basics
  • Bash and python scripting
  • Camera and photography concepts such as shutter speed, aperture, ISO, white balance, etc.
  • Analytic reporting and visual data representation
  • Are you someone who:
  • Embraces complexity and turns it into manageable project tasks
  • Enjoys both on-paper engineering as well as pro-active lab work
  • Has an independent, self-starter mind-set
  • Has excellent communication and naturally connects with others
  • Is studying towards BSc, MSc or similar certification in Engineering or related subject

Responsibilities

  • Technical investigations on camera subsystems such as sensors, audio, and power circuitry that will guide future product development
  • Software scripting to automate our powerful image quality lab and conduct tests alongside camera professionals
  • Standardization of test procedures for critical camera hardware blocks
  • Providing recommendations to engineering and product leadership on competitive approaches by conducting teardowns, technology deep dives, and BOM analysis
