Requirements

Be a student from high school to PhD levels that is authorized to work in your country of residence.
Availability to work 40 hrs. per week during 12 weeks between May’24 and August’24.
Have a project proposal ready to be submitted at the time of your application (see details in the “Application process” section)
Good level of proficiency in spoken and written English.
A personal computer with good internet connection and equipped with sufficient resources to adequately support the requirements of your project.
Basic knowledge of a programming language.
Willingness to learn HPCC Systems and its programming language ECL (Enterprise Control Language).
Have conceptual knowledge in the topic of the internship project being pursued.
Basic communication and organizational skills.
Problem analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution skills.
Ability and desire to learn new processes and technologies.

Responsibilities

Learn the technologies and tools required for the successful completion of your internship project.
Under the guidance of your mentor, successfully execute the activities from your internship project plan.
Attend daily calls with your mentor and weekly team meetings.
Send a weekly status/progress report to your mentor.
Maintain a public blog post, proper documentation and a code repository for your project.
At the end of the internship, deliver a final presentation to the team and produce a poster/recording of your project (see posters/recordings from past projects here).
Adhere to corporate guidelines and attend mandatory training as required.
