Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student at an accredited college.
  • Demonstrated interest in Human Resources.
  • Excellent skills with the Microsoft Office suite of programs.
  • Ability to utilize various Excel functions (e.g., VLOOKUP) to maintain employee records.
  • Demonstrated ability to research primary and secondary sources.
  • Demonstrated leadership and the ability to work in teams.
  • Shown interest and passion in public speaking.
  • Skill in managing multiple activities, delivering on commitments, and operating with speed, accuracy, and strong judgment.
  • Strong work ethic

Responsibilities

  • Assist teams throughout the recruitment process, including monitoring intern requests, editing intern postings, reviewing candidate applications, and candidate debrief.
  • Schedule and host orientations and meet & greets for the summer intern cohort.
  • Schedule meetings and monitor the open chair program for summer interns.
  • Facilitate the weekly intern check-in for the intern cohort and monitor the intern team’s channel.
  • Conduct exit interviews:
  • Onboarding and new hire assimilation.
  • Assist with new hire paperwork preparation and documentation for interns.
  • Conduct intern new hire orientation.
  • Employee engagement:
  • Ability to be creative and host team-building events.
  • Procedure documentation.
  • Data Presentation.
  • Employee Newsletter Preparation.
  • Scheduling meetings for the team as needed.
  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
