Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering required
  • 0+ years of experience
  • Construction or related discipline, or commensurate experience in semiconductor, photovoltaic, flat panel display tool installation preferred
  • Experience in managing the different but related disciplines of several projects at the same time
  • Basic knowledge of Autodesk Building Systems Software
  • Knowledge of semiconductor, flat panel display, and photovoltaic processing technologies
  • Communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced industry environment
  • Must be a strong team player with an ability to build effective working relationships with individuals, department leads, and client representatives
  • Energetic, self-motivated thinker with an enquiring mind and a commercial approach
  • Strong collaboration, coordination, analytical, problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Good communicator (written and verbal), with high quality report writing skills
  • Committed to achievement of assigned tasks and meeting deliverables

Responsibilities

  • Analyses of process flows to develop efficient process area layouts and work cell layouts through use of analysis software such as Proplanner
  • Generates from-to matrixes and Linear Flow Diagrams to quantify travel frequency and repeatable processing operations
  • Develops fab layouts including direct support areas, such as gas rooms, chemical rooms, parts clean, transport systems, WIP requirements, etc.
  • Develops process equipment layouts to optimize customer’s production, expansion, schedule, and facilities cost goals
  • Uses tool utility matrix database(s) and understanding of process equipment, determine base building utility requirements for sizing system capacities and distribution
  • Other duties as assigned
