Requirements

Third or Fourth year Industrial Engineering student with previous internship experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Understanding of IE Fundamentals and how to deliver a quality product to the customer
Experience with Simulation software for discrete processing
Experience with 2D CAD for floor space layouts
Understanding of Enterprise Resource Planning
Attention to detail with a focus on customer experience
Understanding of statistical analysis
US Person is required
This position will be working onsite in our Santa Rosa, CA HQ; candidates must be willing to relocate to Santa Rosa.
Keysight Internship Program Requirements:
Candidates who wish to be considered must be currently enrolled in a accredited college/university as of September 2024. Applicants who have graduated before September 2024 will not be considered unless they are starting a MS or PHD program after graduating.

Responsibilities

Engage in manufacturing studies to look for process improvement opportunities
Apply core industrial engineering concepts to show where it's possible to reduce costs and maximize return on investment. Report on findings
Provide knowledge leadership regarding the latest industry advancements and trends and well as emerging technology enablers (ERP, MES)
Apply knowledge to develop solutions and partner with representatives from various organizations to integrate ideas, make decisions, and drive improvement
Possess great teamwork skills, initiative, focus, and follow-through. Work closely with your team, and other teams, to investigate opportunities and propose solutions
