Requirements

  • Self-motivated, diligent and excited by STEM subjects
  • You will either have recently completed A levels (or equivalent level) in STEM related subjects or be working towards qualification to degree level in an Engineering discipline, Mathematics or other closely related discipline
  • A keen interest in product development within military or civil aerospace
  • Competent in technical report writing and presentations
  • A team player and effective communicator
  • Able to multi-task and prioritise own work

Responsibilities

  • To gain an underlying knowledge of business processes and the product lifecycle
  • Learn and apply the technology used in our inertial products
  • Research and understanding how our current gyroscopes and accelerometers work
  • Support the design, development and testing of pre-production products
  • Produce documentation as directed
  • Configure new hardware designs
  • Build prototype electronic circuits
  • Present new designs and ideas to design authorities
